Edward Thatch

Edward thatch : 

Edward Thatch (c. 1680 – 1718), sometimes known as Edward Teach, or by the alias Blackbeard, was an infamous English pirate captain who sailed the West Indies and the American Colonies during the early 18th century, aboard the ship Queen Anne's Revenge.
Thatch was also a contemporary and associate of Edward Kenway.

Trivia

Edward Kenway took an Irish bloodhound as a pet when settling down with his family in London, which he named Thatch.
Lead Writer Darby McDevitt stated on his Twitter feed that the developers would be using the name Edward Thatch over the more commonly accepted Edward Teach, when referring to Blackbeard in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
The database entry for Dead Chest Island in Assassin's Creed III uses the name "Edward Teach".

Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (1165 – 1257) was a Syrian-born member of the Levantine Brotherhood of Assassins, and served as theirMentor from 1191 until his death in 1257. During his tenure as Mentor, Altaïr made several discoveries and inventions that greatly helped the Order's progression, and his leadership saw to the spread of the Assassins' influence in the Old World. He is also an ancestor to Desmond Miles.
Raised to be an Assassin from birth, Altaïr obtained the rank of Master Assassin by the age of 24. However, following his failure to obtain an Apple of Eden from Robert de Sable in early 1191, and subsequently allowing the Templars to attack the city of Masyaf – headquarters of the Assassins – he was demoted to the rank of novice and sent on a quest for redemption.

Tasked with the deaths of nine individuals, who, unbeknown to him, made up the ranks of the Templar Order in the Holy Land, Altaïr began a quest to change his ways and liberate the Kingdom from the corruption of the nine. During his quest however, Altaïr learned of a plot far more sinister than originally believed. Completing his mission to kill the nine targets, and cleansing the Order of its treacherous leader Al Mualim, Altaïr rose to the rank of Mentor, taking the Assassins into a new, more secretive direction.

With the Apple in hand, Altaïr changed the ways his Order lived their lives; writing the details in his fabled Codex for later generations of the Order to read. Altaïr's vision of the Assassin Order was for them to be spread across the world, living among the people, to which he began establishing many more Assassins Guilds during his tenure as Mentor. Throughout his travels, Altaïr strengthened his Order, stopping various Templar plots over the years as well as halting the inexorable march of Genghis Khan.

Early life
Training as an Assassin
Altaïr was born to Assassin parents: a Christian mother and a Muslim father, Umar Ibn-La'Ahad.
While Altaïr's mother died at childbirth, his father Umar was executed by the Saracens, in retribution for him killing a nobleman of their kind during the First siege of Masyaf, with Altaïr being 11 years old at the time. Moments before the execution, Altaïr frantically called out to his father before he was killed, leading to a sight that would cause him much grief from that point on. Ahmad Sofian, the Assassin who had revealed Umar's name to the Saracens under torture, felt responsible for Umar's death and some time after the event, he infiltrated Altaïr's quarters, before apologizing to Altaïr for his weakness under pressure and proceeded to commit suicide with a dagger.

Following this, Altaïr ran to Al Mualim's quarters with haste, informing him of the situation that occurred. Al Mualim advised Altaïr that he should not disclose any information that the two had discussed – not even to Ahmad's son Abbas – especially since Altaïr and Abbas would start their training under him together. Altaïr considered Al Mualim as more of a father figure to him than his biological father, even though he was aware that Al Mualim's love was "weak and dishonest." Altaïr grew up alongside Abbas, studying together and becoming best friends, with the two always being at one another's side.

One day, Altaïr, after having noticed Abbas' continued grief over his father, decided to tell him that Ahmad had killed himself, in an effort to console him with the truth. Upon hearing it, Abbas turned around in his bed, not saying a word. The following day, the two of them didn't speak to each other, spending most of the day in silence, until Abbas asked their combat instructor Labib if they could fight with real swords, instead of the wooden practice ones. It was then that Abbas revealed his hatred to Altaïr, believing him to have lied about his father, before attacking him in a frenzy – fueled with rage.

After the battle between the two entered into a struggle, with the two of them laying in the mud, Abbas held his knife to Altaïr's throat; Abbas yelled out that Altaïr had lied about his father, with the commotion catching the attention of the other Assassins, the villagers and Al Mualim himself. Deciding to try and quell Abbas' anger, Altaïr claimed that he had lied, and the two of them were brought to Masyaf's dungeon where they both spent a month, after which they had to resume their training. With his crimes deemed more severe, Abbas was forced by Al Mualim to spend an extra year in training, whilst Altaïr was made into an Assassin.

When Altaïr was 24 years old, Masyaf was attacked and overrun by Templars, aided by a double agent named Haras, who had pretended to be an ally of the Assassins. Riding his horse into the village and rescuing a fellow Assassin from the Templars, Altaïr led him to a bench due to the man's injured leg, before Altaïr met with Abbas.[4]
Despite Abbas claiming that the Assassins had to fall back and that they could do nothing for Al Mualim, who was detained in the fortress alongside several other Assassin hostages, Altaïr gave Abbas the orders to flank the Templars and lead them into the canyon while Altaïr himself would go to rescue Al Mualim, insisting that Abbas make "no mistakes
From there, Altaïr made his way to the fortress, killing Templar soldiers and rescuing villagers along the way. Upon arriving at the fortress' gates, Altaïr was greeted by the traitor, Haras. Taunting the Assassin, Haras closed the gates behind him as he went to execute the captured Assassins – which included Al Mualim himself – inside the courtyard with a crossbow. With Altaïr locked out of the fortress' gates, he managed to climb up some scaffolding on the outside to get onto the walls. From there, he ran along the battlements and jumped onto a tiled roof of a balcony, before he assassinated Haras from above, saving Al Mualim from being killed in the process.
After that, Altaïr had earned Al Mualim's respect and had been elevated to rank of Master Assassin. Upon hearing this, Abbas spat on the ground near Altaïr's feet, whereas Altaïr only sneered at him. This event was the first time Altaïr began to display arrogance, which would cause his downfall a few years later.

Quest for the Chalice

In the year 1190, returning from a journey, Altaïr discovered that a village near to the city of Alep was under attack. As he ran to the village, Altaïr came across an Assassin guard who told him that Templars were responsible for the assault. Before he died, Altaïr was given a sword by the guard to defend himself.

Fending off many Templars along the way, Altaïr came across an archer who revealed the Templars' plans and admitted that they were tasked to attack the village by the Templar leader, Lord Basilisk, in order to gain valuable information that was possessed by a member of the Brotherhood. Shortly after, Altaïr dispatched the Templar and continued on, where he assassinated a Templar captain and was informed by another Assassin that Al Mualim requested his presence.

On meeting up with Al Mualim, Altaïr was tasked with retrieving an ancient artifact named "the Chalice" and, after he had prepared, Altaïr left for the city of Damascus to slay Tamir.

eginning in Damascus, Altaïr located a Rafiq, who seemed to be selling clothes amongst other wares. As he approached, Altaïr accidentally blurted out the Assassin's password with inappropriate timing, and once in a secluded area, the Rafiq began to question Altaïr's skills, before explaining how Altaïr had acted stupidly. Following this, the Rafiq then tasked Altaïr to take the life of an enemy, and once completed, he would then give Altaïr the information he sought in exchange. Forthwith, Altaïr did as he was asked and took the man's life with his Hidden Blade.
As agreed, Altaïr then explained to the Rafiq of his situation with the Chalice and was given the information he needed. Although the Rafiq's explanation didn't go into exact detail on a specific point, Altaïr was told to look for a man who had close connections with Tamir, by the name of Misbah. Once Altaïr had left and located Misbah, he interrogated the man, but the nearby city guard caught wind of the altercation.
As Misbah fled the scene, Altaïr took down the guards, before he soon found Misbah desperately hanging on a rope after a beam had broken. Altaïr requested information in return for safety. Reluctantly, Misbah accepted, although he tried to deny it. After he had told the Assassin what Altaïr needed to know, he requested help, but Altaïr left him for dead.

Altaïr then made his way to Tamir's house and conveniently found some torches, before utilizing them to light the merchant's house on fire, luring him out. Grieving over the loss of his belongings, he told Altaïr of an ancient temple in which he would find the Chalice. Tamir also told the Assassin of a dancer named Fajera who held a key. With the information acquired, Altaïr ended Tamir's life.

Acquiring the first key
After he had left the Bureau, Altaïr ventured to the circus that Fajera performed at, in oder to get one of three keys Tamir had mentioned. While there, Altaïr confronted Fajera and asked her if she had the key with her. Stubbornly, she refused to cooperate and called one of her circus friends, a brute who went by the name of Badr. Altaïr fought off Badr but, before he could defeat him, Fajera left the tent. Shortly afterwards, the tent began to cave in, though Altaïr managed to escape in time, leaving Badr's fate unknown. Following this, Altaïr chased Fajera across the city, dodging civilians and guards alike. However, the Assassin lost her tail as a bridge collapsed, leaving him behind.
On spotting her again, Altaïr made his way to Fajera, who was by a well. She was impressed by Altaïr's actions and gladly gave him the key, though Altaïr was confused by her actions beforehand; Fajera explained that she had actually been testing Altaïr. She continued that, through her cards, she had foreseen his arrival and thought that she had best prepare herself in aiding the Assassin. Fajera then requested Altaïr to dispose of a man named Alaat, who was within a bath-house not too far from where they were.
Venturing through old sewer tunnels, Altaïr made his way into the bath-house and, although Alaat let out a cry for help, he was too late to save himself as Altaïr plunged his blade into the man and escaped. As a thanks, Fajera told Altaïr of another key holder in Tyre.

Anne Bonny



Anne Bonny (8 March 1702 – 22 April 1782) was an Irish pirate born in Kingsale, Ireland during the early 18th century who operated out of the Caribbean. At some point, she had a relationship with the Assassin Edward Kenway.

History

In October of 1720, Jack Rackham and his crew (including Bonny) was attacked by a "King's Ship", a sloop that was commissioned by the Governor of Jamaica, with the intent to take out Rackham. Being that most of the crew were drunk, many of the pirates provided little resistance, yet Bonny, Mary Read, and an unknown man fought to their full potential.
Eventually, the crew was imprisoned and sentenced to be hanged. However, both Bonny and Read were able to plead pregnancy, and their sentences were temporarily put on hold until childbirth had ensued.

There is no historical record of Bonny's release or of her supposed execution. This led to the belief that her father ransomed her; that she might have returned to her husband, or even that she resumed a life of piracy under an entirely new identity.

Edward was driven to prove himself as a "man of quality" to his family, but he was also a serial adulterer. His relationships proved useful, as he would sleep with courtesans to convince them to draw out his targets. Between his two marriages, Edward had other close relationships, including one with the pirate Anne Bonny.

During his formative years, Edward was a reckless, albeit brave, individual who was infatuated with the idea of fame and glory. Such was his obsession that he left his first wife to become a privateer in the British Navy, hoping to score his fortune in the Caribbean and prove his worth to his estranged wife. After the Treaty of Utrecht effectively made all privateers redundant, many turned to a life of piracy; Edward among them. He quickly became feared and respected for his skill at the helm of a ship and his combat prowess, with even the renowned Edward Thatch commenting upon his ability.
It was the promise of wealth, power and and infamy that spurred Edward into joining the Order of Assassins; something the Assassins very clearly recognised. Although they knew him to be good at heart, and capable of change, the Assassins were wary of their new brother, who cared only for access to the Brotherhood's weapons and techniques, and nothing for the Creed itself. Indeed, it was these very qualities that drew him to the attention of the Order's sworn enemies, the Templars.

Despite the vested interested of both the Assassins and the Templars in the veteran pirate, Edward remained steadfastly focused on his own goals; power, infamy and proof that he was better than he was born to be. Edward was also one to take any advantage afforded him; twisting the meaning of the Creed to suit his own ends, whilst realising that it promised him the power to make himself better than he was.

As a father, Edward encouraged his son to think for himself instead of believing everything his home-school teachers said. He also expressed pride towards his eight-year old son when Haytham said that he would have offered the thief who tried to mug his mother clemency, instead of acting on the impulse to kill him like Birch had attempted to. Edward could be quite conservative in other respects however, such as his decision to marry off his daughter to Birch, as was the tradition of the day.

Skills and equipment
During his privateering, Edward spent his time repeatedly climbing the vast rigging and masts of his warships, providing him with a deftness equalling that of any Assassin. He also wielded at least four flintlock pistols and two swords on him at a given time, and would make full use of his armaments in battle.
One of Edward's most invaluable pieces of equipment was his ship, Jackdaw. She was equipped with a diving bell that Edward used to dive for treasure beneath the waves; during these maritime explorations, Edward proved to be a strong swimmer who was capable of fending off sharks if he was attacked.

Edward eventually retired from his life at sea upon meeting Tessa Stephenson-Oakley, the woman who would later become his second wife. Using her family connections, Tessa assisted Edward in purchasing a manor in Queen Anne's Square in London, and by 1725, the two had a son, Haytham. Edward trained Haytham to become an Assassin from an early age, through things such as swordsmanship tutelage, despite Haytham barely being six years old at the time. Edward would also encourage his son to think for himself, and dispute others' opinions. Despite this, Edward kept his past a secret from his young son, though his former career as a pirate forever distanced the family from their neighbours in London.
On December 4, 1733, on Haytham's eighth birthday, the Kenway family was walking home from a trip to White's Chocolate House on Chesterfield Street, when the group was attacked by a mugger. When the mugger attempted to steal Tessa's necklace, he was swiftly repulsed by Edward, before being pounced upon by Reginald Birch. Edward adamantly refused to allow Birch to kill the attempted mugger, and was infuriated at Reginald's harsh vigilantism. When the family returned home that night, Edward asked his son whether he thought that the thief should have been allowed to go free. Haytham replied that he had initially held feelings to enact revenge, but would have offered the man clemency; Edward then presented Haytham with a steel short sword.

During one of Birch's visits, the two men engaged in a loud argument some time after Reginald had Haytham unknowingly reveal the location of Edward's most prized and hidden possessions. This argument ended with Birch storming out of the office.

On 3 December 1735, the Kenway household was infiltrated by masked men – under the command of Reginald Birch – who kidnapped his daughter, Jenny, and killed several of the servants. After making sure that his wife and son were safe, Edward raced to the games room and was confronted by two of the intruders; after a prolonged fight, one of the men managed to impale Edward through the chest with their sword, killing him instantly.

Born in relative poverty to an English father and a Welsh mother, Edward was a charming and charismatic individual who aged to become a fairly reckless and selfish young man with a penchant for drinking.
During his early teens, Edward's family moved to Bristol, in south-west England, where he eventually met and married Caroline Scott, a woman two years his senior, and with whom he had a daughter, Jenny Kenway. Although a lively marriage by all accounts, Caroline soon grew tired of Edward's inability to find steady work or take his responsibilities as a husband seriously, though it was Edward's grandiose ideas about sailing as a privateer in the West Indies that ultimately led to their estrangement.

Determined to prove his worth, Edward pursued his dreams of being a privateer and in late 1712, boarded a ship chartered for Jamaica, with the intention of sailing under the renowned privateer, Benjamin Hornigold. He remained in Jamaica for six months until the Treaty of Utrecht in early 1713, which effectively ended all conflict between the major empires, and as such, British privateers were no longer needed or tolerated in the West Indies, causing Edward to find himself out of work.

By 1715, Edward had two years of piracy under his belt, and command of the warship Jackdaw; an experience that had made him deft with a ship and able to climb under even the most extreme conditions.

Edward Kenway (1693 – 1735) was a British privateer-turned-pirate and a member of the Assassin Order.
Early in his life, he joined the British Royal Navy and, once accepted, found himself stationed in the West Indies. However, a quick end to the war and the promise of gold, glory and fame eventually seduced him into a life of piracy; it was during this quest Edward first encountered the Assassin Order, and became embroiled in their struggle.

Edward was also the father of Haytham Kenway and the grandfather of Ratonhnhaké:ton; through this line, he is an ancestor of Desmond Miles.

Desmond Miles (1987 – 2012) was a member of the Assassin Order and a descendant of numerous familial lines that had sworn an allegiance to the Assassins; including individuals such as Aquilus, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Ratonhnhaké:ton.
By age 16, Desmond became tired of living in hiding and aspired to pursue his own dreams. Using the minimal training of Assassin skills he had obtained from his father, William Miles, Desmond fled from the Assassin compound he had grown up in and managed to travel from South Dakota to New York City, where he found employment as a bartender in the Bad Weather nightclub.

In September 2012, Desmond was kidnapped and incarcerated at Abstergo Industries, a Templar organization, and forced into a machine called the Animus to relive the genetic memories of his ancestor, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad. It was Abstergo's aim to acquire a map that detailed many "Pieces of Eden" spread across the Earth, which Desmond was reluctantly successful in doing. Following this, he managed to escape Abstergo with the help of Lucy Stillman, an undercover Assassin, and joined an Assassin cell in Italy, which consisted of herself, Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane. Utilizing an upgraded Animus of Rebecca's construction, Desmond relived the memories of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, in order to improve upon his newly obtained skills.

Eventually, with the knowledge gained from Ezio's memories, Desmond and his fellow Assassins obtained the location of Ezio's Apple of Eden, which was located underneath the Colosseum. Though successful in obtaining the artifact, Desmond's body was taken over by Juno, a member of the First Civilization, and was made to stab Lucy. As a result of the shock, Desmond fell into a coma, and was placed in the Black Room, the safe mode of the Animus, in an attempt to stabilize his condition. With help from the virtual construct of Clay Kaczmarek, "Subject 16" of Abstergo's Animus Project, Desmond was able to regain consciousness, and found himself located in the state of New York once more, this time with Rebecca, Shaun, and his father, William.

I always use my Favorite Character !!!!!!!! TWISTED FATE!!!!!!!!!!!! ○Its because TF Has the skill to Stun other PLAYERs and his Background Story is kinda cool.

Although born to poor gypsy parents, the champion known as Twisted Fate was able to gamble his way to prosperity as a card shark in the seedy underground gambling circuits of Demacia and Noxus. No matter how close the authorities came to catching him, the rogue always found a way to slip through their fingers. Despite his good fortune, he was never able to win that which he truly desired - the ability to control magic. When Twisted Fate learned of an experiment being conducted in Zaun that might help him with his wish, he did the only thing a gambler of his worth could do - he went all in and volunteered for the experiment.
Conducted by the infamous Dr. Xavier Rath, Twisted Fate was told that the wager for such participation might be steep. He might change forever, or nothing might happen, or he might die horribly. Pain, however, was likely a part of the deal no matter the outcome. These were hardly the worst odds the gambler had faced; his hopes raised, Twisted Fate underwent the experiment, enduring what he must for a chance at his dream. Then, it ended - with seemingly no effect whatsoever. The gypsy rogue flew into a murderous rage, but, before he could strike down the team, he suddenly teleported himself miles away. With a sly grin, he realized his luck had won out yet again. He now brings his luck and rakish charm to the Institute of War, where he is the champion of choice for many - especially the gambling kind. To this day, Twisted Fate has avoided his inevitable reunion with Dr. Rath. The Card Master knows, however, that a confrontation is coming.

"While the future may be mysterious and unknown to most, Twisted Fate is certain that his future lies within the cards."
